Running Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2007 concurrently

I'm an old grey-hair who has Ansi Outlook PSTs back to 1994 by year. I'm
thinking of upgrading my Office XP to Office 2007 Which has unicode PSTs. Is
it possible to have both versions of Outlook running on the same Vista or XP
machine? I would use the 2007 Outlook for all mail from this point on, but I
would like to be able to occassionally search and use old PSTs for research.
I'm on a fixed income and can't justify the cost for ANSI to PST converters
since I would only use them one time. I really don't want to lose the dates
on the old PST messages so importing them might not work.

No you cannot, in any case your old mail & archives will be available to OL
2007 if you care to open them.
Its the other way round that doesnt work, ie a unicode pst cannot be read by
versions earlier than 2003, but all versions of OL can read an ansi code
file
