Runtime error 2452 .. Help please

Hi,

I have a subform. I am trying to requry the parent form
on exit of the subform or enter.

The syntax i am using is

Me.Parent.Requery

When I use this, I get a runtime error 2452.."The
expression you entered has an invalid reference to the
parent property".

Does anybody have an idea why this is happening?

I would really really appreciate any help..
