Runtime Error - R6025 Pure virtual function call

[DJ Word]

I receive this error runtime error message R6025 pure
virtual function call in Outlook 2002 sp3 when reading
anything forwarded from Yahoo. I have searched many
boards and MS Knowledge Base, but I have yet to find a
solution specific to Outlook 2002.

Any suggestions, work arounds or fixes?

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

I got the same r6025 error message every time I sent myself copies of yahoo
news stories in html format. Moreover, it prevents any viewing of any email
in the inbox! (I'm using Outlook 2000 and downloading messages from my
hotmail account using pop3hot.) After much tinkering, here's what I found.
The problem appears to be with the preview pane option in Outlook and its
interaction with the yahoo html coding. I don't know what it is or how it
can be fixed. But my workaround is this:

1. Sent my self test emails from another account. This allowed the inbox
message list to have messages in front of the problem children from yahoo
news. Then I could, using the mark function, delete simultaneously the test
messages and the offending yahoo emails. That reopens access to the inbox.
2. With the inbox open, go to view and turn off the preview pane option.
3. Sent myself new yahoo news stories in html. They will open in a new
window without problem by clicking on the subject line.
4. I leave the preview pane option on for my convenience, and just turn it
off if I'm downloading emails from yahoo news.
