Runtime Error

Everytime I open Microsoft Word XP, after about 1 or 2
minutes, I get a Runtime Error. This only happens if I
have not IMMEDIATELY opened and saved the document with a
name. The program automatically shuts down. The message
reads...
Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office 10\Winword.exe
Abnormal program termination.
From here, the only option is to click ok, and the
program imemdiately shuts down.

I have tired to uninstall, and reinstall, but that does
not fix the problem. I would appreciate any help. I
have lost just about every document I begin unless I open
a bland doc, and immediately give it a name.
