We are having problems importing a SQL Server table containing some Russian
(Cyrillic alphabet) into Access 2000.
A sample Access 2002 database provided to my customer by her customer contains
a table with Russian data properly rendered in the Cyrillic characters
of the Arial font. However, when she attempts to link or import a table
through an ODBC connection directly to the source database the Russian data
is not rendered in Cyrillic but converted into other characters. Her customer
is able to properly import the data at her customer's location
The customer (who can successfully import the data) is using Access 2002. My
customer is using Access 2000. I don't know what version of SQL Server her
customer is using.
The SQLSRV32.DLL driver version on her machine is 3.70.11.46, Dated
10/28/2003.
Her machine does have the proper Cyrillic characters in her installed Arial
font. It does not appear to be a font issue, but rather a character
conversion issue.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!
