Rusty on table and form basics

E

EdOwen2001

I am a writer and want to keep track of projects I submit to agents and
publishers. I have project details in one table and contacts (agents and
publiser info) in another, with forms for entering data in each. I tried
making a third table called Submissions to track my activity. I have foreign
keys that relate to both the Projects and Contacts tables and have linked
them in the relationships window (one to many on both tables). I can't seem
to put the correct information in the Submissions form to easily enter all of
this information. I want to use a combo box with Company name for Contacts
and one with Titles for my projects and then fill in the other data like
submission date, method, etc. I know this is fairly easy to do, but I can't
seem to get it all together. Help and suggestios are appreciated.

These newsgroups are provided by Microsoft for FREE peer to peer support.
Stevie is a known troll who offers questionable results at excessive prices.

Steve,

Thanks, that got me headed in the right direction. So, how's life under the
bridge? LOL Everyone has an opinion and you are the only person who
offered any help. Have a Merry Christmas.

There is no problem with offering help, it is only when stevie decides to
put in his plea for work. These newsgroups were set up for FREE help and if
the community lets stevie get away with his solicitations, then there is no
reason why others can not also do so. I am under no dillussions that stevie
will grow up and respect the nature of these newsgroups, but I do want to
discourage others from thinking that they are allowed to do the same and
possibly more agressively. Would you waste your time wading through ads to
get help and possibly risk being targeted by every two bit hussler looking
for work because you admitted to having a problem? No, you would go
elsewhere where you would get an honest answer. My tagging stevie when he
gets out of line is just a means to keep this place a useful place for
honest answers on Access.

Though there was nothing really special in stevie's answer, there was enough
there that others did not need to post an answer. So that is why he was the
only one posting an answer.

John;

**** you-- you don't need to follow steve around, talking shit!

stick your nose where it belongs, you don't get to run around slamming
steve like that-- it just doesn't help anyone.
And like the OP says-- _JOHN_ is the troll here, not Steve!
