Dude, that rocks. I have this powerpoint I designed to run on a kiosk but I found that I wanted to run it in a room but not rewrite the thing to remove all the timings and transitions. Some were in bad spots, so like the slide wipes clean THEN waits for you to click/advance, stuff like that. Runs great as a movie, but just not designed to step through.
Anyway, the F1 trick (man, how obvious is that?) showed me that "S or +" pauses a show, and it does, right in the middle of the animation, and pushing it again restarts, just like magic.
You can get a little befuddled if you forget to click on the second monitor's screen to make it the active window if you use dualies, but otherwise, no tricks.
And the guy who says that pushing a # key pauses it, he's right... it does... But then you're stuck cause it is looking for you to finish typing your number and then push "enter" so it can jump to slide #x. So if you push a # button, I don't think you can restart.
Thanks!
