Safe Senders option disappeared

I'm not sure what I did.

I have e-mails from external sources of which I would really like to see the
contents. Until this morning, I clicked "Add Sender to Safe Senders list"
(or words to that effect). This morning, however, that option is not
available. I don't know what I did to make this go away. I've searched
through the options and cannot find the setting for this.

Ideas?
