Safe Senders Option not blocking emails

I have all the latest patches (as of 08-Aug-06) for Outlook 2003 and selected
safe sendors only mode and yet it still accepts junk email from email
addresses not in my safe senders list.

What have I missed?

try a different setting, then switch back - it gets stuck sometimes and
needs a kick in the backside. you could also delete the junk rule and let it
rebuild it - http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/fix_junk.htm
