Help!! While I was away for a few days, the Office 2003 trial version
expired. My usage does not require loading the regular version, however, I
now have a number of difficult to recreate files locked. Please tell me
there is a way to transport this information to standard MS works word
documents.

Will be very grateful,

I assume you mean where I would like to migrate the files. It would be to
Microsoft Works (word processor).

I meant which program. You said "Please tell me there is a way to transport
this information to standard MS works word documents." There is no such
program as "Works Word". There is a program called Works and another program
called Word.

It appears you are asking if you can convert a Word document into a Works
document. Is this correct?
