Same task, multiple places

Hello,
Im creating a project and I'm noticing that the same task applies to
several areas of the same project. I know that I can simply have
different task list this task as a predecessor but for organization
purposes, it would be nice to see that same task listed several times
under different categories. Is there a way to do this?

Each task in a plan is a unique entity which the exception of cross project
dependancies.

You can have multiple tasks with the same name in a single plan.

It sounds as though you aren't structuring your schedules to mirror the
work, rather you're trying to organize your work by department or some other
criteria. If so, you're following a path to confusion and frustration.
Always structure your schedules around the work flow. Use custom attributes
to sort the tasks for others to consume.
