Save 2002 Powerpoint to lower version + disable modify

How can I save a 20002 Powerpoint to a lower version MS
Powerpoint version so that it can not be modified?

This has stumped my helpdesk...?

Sue,

in short...you cannot save a powerpoint 2002 (just the 2 'o's') to a lower
version so that it cannot be modified. As saving it to a lower version would
not stop it being modified
