Save a .pps attachment

Periodically I receive emails with a ".pps" file as attachment. How do I save the attachment.

in Outlook Express, an attachment is indicated usually by a paper clip icon.
just click on the icon and select save attachment. save to a folder of choice on
your computer. You can then open the .pps file in PowerPoint for viewing. If you
do not have PowerPoint on your system, then Download Free PowerPoint Viewers

It depends on the e-mail program you use. For the most part one of the
following will work:

1. Select your message, click the "File" menu, select "Save attachments".

2. Right-click your attached file, click "Save target as..."

Normally you can double-click to open the file and click "File", "Save as",
but since a PPS file opens up in Slide Show mode, you need to use one of the
methods described above. Holler back if this isn't an option in your e-mail
program. If not, let us know which program you use (Outlook Express,
Outlook, AOL, Eudora, etc.) and someone will have an answer for you.
