"Save As..." Default Option

I use File/"Save as..." to relocate some of my email messages. The current
default setting that pops in when the 'Save as' window opens is HTML. I am
wondering if there is a way to change that default, rather than having to
select Outlook Message Format or whatever each time I save. I am using
Outlook 2003 in Windows XP. Thank you.

Thank you, Brian...I know that you replied to this query with a work around.
However, it did not answer the question I asked. I was hoping that maybe
someone had an answer to the question I originally posed.

If you wish to ask if anyone else has an idea, you should continue the
original thread, not start a new one.

I started a new one, since the title of the original one wasn't as precise as
I wanted to make it. However, I see that no one here is going to have an
answer for this I fear, so both posts will probably end on this note, unless
someone comes up with a solution. Thanks for the help, Brian.
