Save As Dialog Box...Not Responding...HungApp

when I try to perform a File "Save As", the dialog box appears but when I
click on the arrow to find the location I want, the system hangs. The title
in the dialog box says "Save As File Not Responding" and then I get a end
program with a send report that references a "hungapp". This happens in both
Word and Excel. I am using 2002. Thank you.
