Save as feezes

Whenever I have a .doc document and do a SAVE AS: a rectangular window comes
up with My Documents. Trying to go to another folder by clicking the small
down arrow to the right results in freezing of the screen. This happens in
word or whenever I have opened a word file attachment in Windows Explorer.

I am using Win XP - Word 2003 SP3

Most likely cause is that you have an invalid mapped drive set up in Windows
Explorer.

Thank you for your interest. I am not sure I know what you mean by an
incorrectly mapped drive in IE. It also happens in Word. Could you elaborate
please. Thank you. B

I'm not too sure that I meant that either. <g>

What I should have said was an invalid mapping in WINDOWS Explorer. Open
Explorer and the mapping command is under Tools Menu.

I found a network under Z and disconnected it and it seems to work now. I
would never have found ot without your help Thanm you. B
