Save as grayscale PDF file?

One of our suppliers needs PDF files in grayscales, yet the "Save as PDF"
feature seems to produce color files only. Is there a way to create a
grayscale PDF file?

It might depend on what driver is producing your pdf, with an Adobe driver
this is possible, by adjusting the print options of the driver.

I use the free "Save as PDF" utility that Microsoft provides. This does
include an XPS printer driver but not a PDF printer driver.

Hi Jelle,

It depends on which app you're in within Office. As the feature for PDF was created as a 'save' rather than 'print' feature
matching what you see on the screen is pretty much the target for the MS add-in.
You can use one of the available print to PDF drivers (http://cutepdf.com for example) if you'd rather not change the actual
onscreen document into greyscale for pictures.
