Hi Jelle,
It depends on which app you're in within Office. As the feature for PDF was created as a 'save' rather than 'print' feature
matching what you see on the screen is pretty much the target for the MS add-in.
You can use one of the available print to PDF drivers (
http://cutepdf.com for example) if you'd rather not change the actual
onscreen document into greyscale for pictures.

I use the free "Save as PDF" utility that Microsoft provides. This does include an XPS printer driver but not a PDF printer
