'Save As' in Word 2003

O

OREALLY

Hi,

How do I add a folder to the 'Save As' options on the left (Save in) column?

Thanks

Unfortunately, Windows 7 and Word 2003 is a combination I don't have (I
do run Word 2003 in a virtual machine with Windows XP as the operating
system)...

If the folder pane and especially the Favorites folder are available in
the Open dialog box of Word 2003 running on Windows 7, you should be
able to do the following: In the dialog box, locate and select the
folder you want to add. Then right-click Favorites in the folder pane
and choose Add current location to Favorites (from the context menu).

I'm running Word 2003 on Windows 7, and, to my surprise, it still has the
Places Bar, so you can add "places" just the same as under Windows XP, using
Tools | Add to My Places.
