"Save As" option not avaibable

I am running Word 2002. My Save As option is not
highlighted. It doesn't matter if I am trying to save as
on a new or old file to my local hard drive. Any ideas?

Hi Clint,

I have an workaround for this issue.
Try to reset the Save As option in the Tools menu of the Customize tab.

1.) Click on Tools -> Customize.
2.) Click on Rearrange Commands, Highlight Save As and Click on Reset. Then
highlight Normal and Click OK.This will reset your Save As and highlight
it.
3.) Then Click on Close and Close.

If the above steps don't work...

1.) Click on Tools -> Customize.
2.) Click on Rearrange Commands, Highlight Save As then click on delete it.
3.) Then Click on Add, on the left table Commands Click on Save As and
click OK.
4.) Then Click on Close and Close.
