Save as problems

I have a Windows XP Pro machine with Office 2000 SBE with files saved on a
Win98 PC. Whenever I try to save an existing file (Word or Excel) to either a
mapped or UNC folder I get an error that the drive\filename cannot be
located. I can save a new file or a file based on a template but cannot
modify an existing files' name. There are no mapped but disconnected drives.
Everything works fine from Wordpad. Any ideas?

If you installed Windows update KB885250 "MS05-011: Vulnerability in
server message block could allow remote code execution", try
uninstalling KB885250 in Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.

Wow that's what I call service. Many thanks, I'll try it tomorrow and report
back.
