Using PPT 2002, when a presentation named filename is saved as "Save
as Web Page", the created folder (filename_files)contains duplicate
image files with the same filename but one has the suffix .gif and the
other has the suffix.jpg. How come both are created and are they both
necessary? May one of them be deleted? Further, a "Index.htm" file is
not created. It is my understanding that to publish a web site using
Front Page, an "Index.htm" file is required to serve as the first page
of any web site. If so, which of the created files can be renamed as
"Index.htm?"
Thanks, Mel
