I'm using Visio 2007. I have a flowchart with 30 shapes. For each shape I
have a document containing details of that process. I created a hyperlink for
each shape that's linked to the document associated with it.

I want a solution where multiple people can simultaneously view the
flowchart and access the hyperlinked documents. Initially I'd like this
solution to work on the local intranet. If I save the .vsd as an .htm will
this satisfy my needs? I don't need a flashy solution but I need it to work,
be simple to use, and be simple to maintain. If the hyperlinks point to
documents on my hard drive then it should work for me, what do I need to do
so that the hyperlinks work for others on my team, accessing the
flowchart.htm from our MOSS site?

I want to use Visio to create the flowcharts, but I don't know if it's the
right tool to publish the flowcharts as .htm's. Should this work fine for me
or should I use a different strategy/tool to publish my flowcharts with
hyperlinked documents?

Will the Visio Viewer work for you?
If your company uses Outlook 2007, then it is already installed, otherwise
it is a free download.
