default choice and not the GAL?

When selecting the To: in a new message how do you save Contacts as
the default choice and not the GAL?

In the Address Book interface, click Tools>Options and select your
preference.

It would be helpful if you told us what version of Outlook you're using.

However...try opening the address book (CTRL+SHIFT+B probably) and go to
Tools | Options and specify which address book to show first.
