Save different email accounts' messages to different data files

Hi

I've set up two email accounts in Outlook 2003: one is an Exchange Server
account and the other is a POP3 account. I've also created two outlook data
files. Now, I want to filter email messages for each account into its own
data file. It seems impossible to me since Outlook requires all accounts'
messages be stored in the same data file. Am I missing something here ? Any
help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You can use a Rules Wizard rule to divert mail incoming on the POP account
into a folder in a separate .pst file.

Hi

Is setting up rules the only way? I'm having the same problem but am a
bit reluctant to set up rules to solve this since Exchange acts pretty
quickly. Also I've noticed that rules sometimes take a while to move
mails from the Inbox if the computer is busy.
So there is a risk that mails from the Pop3 account might be synchronized
by Exchange while they're still in the Inbox.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Regards,
Nina
