Save document that says permission error

I have created a document with scanned pictures. I cannot save the document
with these. Help tells me to find the permission on my file menu. Icannot.
Please help

You can save documents that contain pictures you have scanned in. What
happens when you try? And which program and version are you using? Exactly
what steps are you taking?
