SAVE OR SAVE AS

my SAVE OR SAVE AS WONT WORK IN micorsoft word. I can not click it on the
word is not lit up. go to file, and I can not choose SAVE or SAVE AS.
Just downloaded micorsoft standard edition 2003 after i took it off Programs.
Thanks for the help. joann

It is a trial version that has time expired or you have installed but not
activated Word and used it more than 50 times without activation.
