Save .pub to .pdf format

J

Jethro Pull

I'm having a little struggle trying to save to .pdf. Went to the MSFT site
and carefully followed the instructions. I've saved to .pdf before but
sometimes it seems impossible.

Using Publisher 2007 and have installed the .pdf converter from MSFT to use
with Word, etc.

TIA.

In Publisher 2007...go to...File / Publish as PDF...

On the...'Publish as PDF' screen...choose a
Save location...enter a name for the file and left
click the Publish button.

Or.....

Go to...File / Save As...
On the Save As screen...choose a Save location...
enter a name for the file and open the 'Save As Type'
drop window and choose...PDF...

Left click the Save button.

And....?
What was the struggle, the outcome, the problem, the error received??

Ok...and be sure to provide them with the same helpful information.

I am truly sorry that I have annoyed anyone. That was not my objective ...
but I have learned a lesson.

People providing insufficient information happens here all the time.
Most of the time someone points out that it's missing, they provide the
missing information, and everyone does their best to help out.

If you answer Rob's questions (and any followups the group may have)
here in the group then I'm sure you'll at least get closer to resolving
your problem.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

The problem has been solved. Went to another forum where they were able to
help me. I can now save .pub's as .pdf's.

Thanks for your concern.

We never knew what the problem was - so the answer we may never know either.

Oh, I'm sorry. Guess I wasn't clear ... I couldn't save a .pub doc to .pdf
format even though the Save As function showed it was available.

The solution was to purchase a third party utility which I am certain you
would not want me to publicize in this MSFT forum.

Thanks so much for your concern.

We discuss third party software frequently...

What was it?
