Save the opening looks different

Sarah

Hello,

Please help. Just recently something strange has been
happening in my Word 2000. I save the document and it
looks fine. Bullets and everything that I wanted is there.
Then I close it. When I go to open the document again the
formatting is gone. All bullets are gone and it is at font
10 right alligned. Nothing stays but the words. Also at
the bottom of the text prints all of this other text like:

b6?$|R
0
Unknownÿ!
Times New Roman

Courier New
Courier New
Wingdings

If anyone has any idea as to how to fix this please
resond. Thank You!

I should note that this only happens when I open files
within Word 2000 from the File/Open. If Word is closed and
I open the file all the formatting is there and fine.

In the File Open dialog, change the "Files of type" setting from "Recover
Text from Any File" to "All Word Documents." See
