Save to List, not to Library

Hi,

I have Sharepoint set up where I can successfully save my forms to a
document library, but my question is, how do I save that information to
a SharePoint list?

Here is the scenario, I have a sharepoint events list, and I want to
extract the data from the infopath forms into my events list - is there
any way to do this?

Check if you can create a field on the events list to pull from existing list
and see if you can point to the forms library. I have never done it. It is
just a thought.

We can use built in web services of sharepoint to update the lists.

Add dataconnection with the below services.
http://<sps server anme>/<Site Name>/_vti_bin/lists.asmx?wsdl
