Save Visio drawing to GIF or BMP? But keep good graphics, etc?

Hi,
I have to save a visio drawing - well a few to a bmp or gif file to use as a
background on a large screen system monitoring tool.

I can save it but once it is blown up on the large lcd - like a 40+ size
screen, the images look fuzzy/distorted and the font is around a 20 to 22 but
it isn't really great in terms of reading it from a bit of distance.

Any ideas?

First choice would be png format, 2nd would be emf. These should preserve
the resolution.

BMP and GIF are bitmap graphics, and what you describe is one of their
characteristics. You can try jpeg instead with a high dpi. A better
choice might be one of the metafile formats (wmf as an example).
