Have an XP Home machine with Office XP on it. For some reason, saved
documents will sometimes have percent signs in the filenames and Word won't
open them until the file is renamed with the percent signs removed. For
instance, naming a document 'myfavoriteletter.doc' will end up on the disk
as 'my%favorite%letter.doc'.
What the heck could be causing this?
