On two separate occasions I was unable to find the most recent version of my
saved Excel file after restarting my pc. After it happened the first time, I
was very diligent about saving my work frequently. I found out subsequently
that Autorecover had already been checked to save every 10 minutes. However,
when I looked in the default location for autorecover I couldn't find any
files.
The Excel file was also open in a One Note notebook. I suspect the problem
is related to One Note as I really haven't figured out how to properly use it
yet.
I am an experienced user of previous versions of Excel but new to Excel 2007
as well as One Note. Both Excel and One Note are part of the Office Home and
Student 2007 suite and are installed on a Vista 66 bit OS. Any help would be
appreciated.
