Saved word documents now have code included

My saved word documents now have code included in the
document. I looked for a reason, the problem disappeared
and then came back. Can you tell me why this is occuring?

In the File Open dialog, change the "Files of type" setting from "Recover
Text from Any File" to "All Word Documents."
