saving a folder takes soooo long

I saw the other helpful messages on how to solve the problem with
disconnecting network drives. I work at home and use my mapped networks only
when I connect to read files at my work place. How can I work at home and
save files quickly on my computer without having to disconnect all the
network drives? Is there a way I can get speedy file saving again without
disconnecting all the mapped drives? thanks.

Hows your memory...
Hard disc not full is it by any chance ...? Have you tried defraggin
and doing a disc clean up, may be something's lurking in th
background giving the ol' RAM a headache, whats the performance like
in the task manager....

Thats about mi ol' brain cells will let me suggest I'm afraid
