saving a presentation.. so that it runs automatically and cannot be re-edited

tim

how do I save a powerpoint presentation so that when it is
opened... say as an email attachment the recipient can
only see the animated sequence... not the text boxes etc
if he clicks on the images.. I know pressing F5 starts the
presentation, and when it commences it is fine... but
before then... the problem is the receiver can edit the
presentation... I cannot find a way of saving it so it
automatically runs and cannot be edited... any help?

Tim,

If you know that people have powerpoint (or the free powerpoint viewer installed), then just rename your presentation
from a .ppt to a .pps file.

Or open the file in powerpoint and save it as a "filetype" = "powerpoint show"
