Saving a project to ProjectServer

Hi.

I thought that saving a project to ProjectServer will not display it in
Projects page in ProjectServer and will dislpay if I publish it manually
from Collaboration menu. And it really did. But when I assgined a resource
to a task and saved the project it was already displayed in the list. Can
anybody explain me the difference?

1. In which cases a project is displayed in the Projects page and not just
saved to the database?

2. In which cases the project is saved only to the database (if I want to
prevent the project to be displayed in the Projects page).
