Saving a template

I receive PPT presentations on customized templates from our Corporate
office. How do I save the design template without having to cut and paste a
new presentation onto the exsisting presentation in order to use their design?

Delete all the slides, then go to File/Save As and choose PowerPoint
Template (*.POT).

You can leave all the slides in if you want, but the template file size will
be larger.
