saving an inserted gif file

I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to save a
gif file that has been inserted into an email. When I try
to do this, it saves it as a bmp. That is the ONLY
choice I am getting? Thank you.

Try emptying your temporary Internet files folder.

It worked for me.
