Saving appointsment for longer then one year

Is there a way/setting that allows Outlook to save
approintments for longer then one year?

At the end of the year it flushes all the prior years
appointments. This doen not seem to be correct behavior,
but I can't find the button or preferance to stop this
from happenning.

Heap would be appreciated.

AutoArchive and see what it says.
