Saving attachments - Outlook is messing up the "last modified" time

Okay, goofy question

My PC clock and Outlook calendar are correct

However, whenever I go into an email in Outlook, open the email and save the attachment to my hard drive, it "changes" the last modified time on the document by 6 hours!

For example, the document was last modifed at 3 PM, but when I save it, it says it was last modified at 9 AM

Can anyone help me
