Is there a way I can save "Colorsync" instead of "Vendor Matching?" Some templates I created in Word 2004 do not print in the correct colors unless I choose "Colorsync" every time.
I *think* you would have to hack the printer driver file (PPD) for your
printer. Either that or hack Apple's printing code. Anyway, the practical
answer is no. Sorry.
There isn't much you can do in Word itself, but when you go to the Print
dialog & make your settings changes you can then open the Presets: list &
use Save As to save the settings. The next time you need them simply select
that Preset from the list instead of "Standard". I would think that the task
of printing based on a certain Preset should be scriptable, but I don't know
that for sure... Not a scripter
