Custom dictionaries are just text files - copy them any way you choose.
Where they are, by default, varies slightly by version.
Easiest way to find them is via Tools > Options > Spelling & Grammar tab
(Office Button > Word Options > Proofing in Office 2007). Click on Custom
Dictionaries and you will see the File Path and Name.
