Saving Date to CD-RW

I am new to using at CD-RW. I have saved data to a CD and it will not allow
me to change the date, telling me it is 'read only.' How do I save data to a
CD so that I can work with the date and change it?

You can't change anything recorded on a CD. You can only
erase it and replace it with something else.

Hi

Are you talking about the Created date? If so, you need a program that
allows you to change that. Windows explorer does not. I successfully changed
the created date on a cdrw file using the freeware file manager program
FreeCommander. The cdrw disk was formatted using Roxio's Direct CD program.
