Saving e-mail messages and junk mail list in upgrade

I am planning to upgrade from Outlook 2000 to Outlook
2003, but don't want to lose my junk mail list, and
contacts. How can I ensure that these setting transfer
over, or back them up to an archive to be safe? Thanks.

Your contacts are in your main Personal Folders file (PST). You can use the Personal Folders Backup Utility from the Microsoft download site to back that up.
