Saving Files

I am working with Microsoft Word for MAC as part of Office: Mac v X.

When I save a Word document, the screen that appears does not offer the

option of selecting a folder, only a general place, e.g. desktop.
This
happens only with Word documents, not with Entourage, e.g. If I need
to re-install Word, can you help with that?
