Saving graphics in Word documents as files

I can't work out how to save a graphic in a Word document
as a seperate jpg file. Is there a way to do this?

If you copy and paste it to a folder it creates a file
called "document scrap", not a jpg file.

If you copy and paste it to Paint or another graphics
program like Paint Shop Pro, it appears as very bad
quality.
