Saving messages from Outlook Express 6 to an external hard drive

Can you tell me how I can save all of my messages from Outlook Express 6 to
an external hard drive? Do I have to transfer them somehow to a folder and
then do it? I'm not very computer savvy. Thanks so much.

BTW, please note: This newsgroup is for support of Outlook
97/98/2000/2002/2003/2007 from the Office suite of products. Outlook
Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.
