Saving "microsoft word" work on hotmail. I can not save my change

B

buddy

I recieved an email from work to home with a microsoft word document
attatched. I made many changes to this document saving several times and my
changes were not saved. Do I have to redo this or is there a way to retrive
and save on hotmail.

You need to Save As, not Save.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, buddy asked:

That's the problem I'm having. I can save, but cannot for the life of me see
where "save as" is. Can anyone help me find it please.

Are you trying to make and save the changes directly from the attachment
within hotmail? If so, you can't.

You must save the document to your hard drive, then open it in Word and make
and save your changes?

No. For example, I have created a document (ie Letterhead) where I would
like to leave the original document as is and then use the "save as" feature
for my second document. I cannot find where "save as" is.
