how do you save music on a power point, and be able to open from another

If it is a wav file, and less than 5000kb in size it will normally be
embedded in your PowerPoint presentation and will travel with the
presentation to the other computer. If the WAV file size exceeds the max
amount it like all other music/video files will not be embedded but linked,
and must be copied along with your presentation to the other computer.

To embedd large wav filles so that they "travel" you need to change some
settings.

Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > GeNERAL TAB

change "link sounds with file size greater than" to eg 9999kb (more if you
have huge files)

New wav files will now travel NB existing sounds will need to be re inserted.
