Saving on Netware Drive

Excel 2003 will not let me save or save as to a drive
which is connected using the Netware Service. Have full
access in explorer or Word 2003, but not in Excel. It has
no relation to the rights of the user, and you can save to
a Win2000 server. You can open a file fine from the
Netware connection, but you cannot save it.

Any suggestions?

Hi Bill,

It may have something to do with the way Excel saves: it first saves as a
temp file, then deletes the old file if overwriting, and then renames the
temp file. One of these operations may violate a users rights, or be
construed as virus-like activity by some overzealous SW.
